Cronulla: Australians rally for self-defence

below

There has been much media coverage regarding the rallying of thousands of Australians in Cronulla on 11th December. Most of the TV coverage and newspaper articles were biased against Australians.

At the rally of over 5000 Australians, one Lebanese man was punched - and much media publicity was focussed upon him. The question has to be asked: If there was a rally of 5000 Lebanese, with their acknowledged higher cultural tendency towards carrying knives, what would the result have been? There was huge publicity centred on one Lebanese man who was punched. But where were the lengthy interviews with the Australians who were assaulted, beaten, and stabbed?

After the rally, when the 5000 Aussie patriots had left for home, Lebanese gangs ventured out, roaming the streets and smashing hundreds of cars, assaulting Australians, and stabbing an Australian man who went to the defence of some Australian women.

The newspapers all carried cartoons showing stereotypes of "the ugly Australian", but where were the cartoon stereotypes of the Lebanese?

The Cronulla scenario shows, once again, that the mainstream media is biased against Australians.

When the future of the failed ideology of Multiculturalism is under threat, neither sell-out politicians nor biased media will help Australians.

Only one political party will truly stand up for Australians -

Australia First

Australia First was the only political party to call upon Aussies to come to Cronulla to support locals in their protest against anti-Australian violence and against the ill-effects of Multiculturalism.
Australian Youth And Families Should Support The Cronulla Mass Mobilisation On December 11

Australia First have also recognised the discrimination carried out against those few Australians arrested regarding the rally of 11 December 2005, whilst the police have shown little energy in identifying the Middle Eastern men responsible for nights of retaliatory violence - whose violence was far more serious than the technical crime of affray brought against the white Australians.

It is obvious that the New South Wales government wishes to harass and intimidate white Australian youth, telling them collectively - by the methods employed - that any real challenge to the Multiculturalist political doctrine will be met by repression.

Police challenge rioter's sentence
The Sydney Morning Herald, 10 February 2006
NSW Police will ask the Director of Public Prosecutions to appeal a sentence handed down yesterday to a Sydney teenager convicted of rioting.
He was the first person to be sentenced following the mob violence on December 11 at Cronulla and subsequent revenge attacks.

Riot order: avoid Middle Eastern men
The Sydney Morning Herald, 4 February 2006
Police were ordered not to approach convoys of men of Middle Eastern appearance who were heading towards beachside suburbs to take revenge for the Cronulla riots.
The revelation follows Opposition claims that police are "soft on ethnic crime" and that they failed to act quickly enough to stop revenge attacks after the Cronulla riots on December 11
... police made an operational decision not to disperse a crowd of Middle Eastern men who gathered in Punchbowl Park, so as not to antagonise them.

Stabbings raise race violence fears
News Limited, 4 February 2006
The stabbing of six people by a gang of youths at Sydney's Bondi Beach has raised the spectre of further beachside violence and prompted claims police are not adequately resourced to deal with the threat. The six men were injured after one group, described as being of Middle Eastern or Mediterranean appearance and armed with knives and bottles, set upon the other near the Bondi Pavilion about midnight (AEDT), police said.
It was the first serious violent incident on Sydney's beaches since the Cronulla riot on December 11 and the subsequent revenge attacks

ASIO targets race riot ringleaders
The Australian, 22 December 2005
ASIO has launched an investigation into the ringleaders of the racial violence that has swept Sydney.
Mr Ruddock said the activities of ultra-right-wing groups over the past few weeks had amounted to promoting their beliefs, but the groups had not been the instigators of the violence.
Australia First and Patriotic Youth League have admitted their members were at the rally before the violence erupted at Cronulla, but have denied any involvement in the riots.

Lebanese Muslim thugs spark riots and the media blame "racist" Australians
Brookes News Bulletin , 19 December 2005
Leftwing journalists are writing sob stories about how badly Australians are allegedly treating Muslims. Yet Lebanese Muslim goons have been terrorizing locals for years without a peep from these leftwing bigots who call themselves journalists.
‘Report’ after ‘report’ on the Cronulla riots stressed Australian racists as being the problem. When it came to fingering Lebanese Muslim thugs the same journalists omitted the thuggery and described this scum as "being of Middle Eastern appearance". This lie was a shabby attempt to reinforce their despicable view that Australians are basically racist.

What A Riot, Mate!
Frontpagemag.com, 19 December 2005
Buried in the clucking about "white racist gangs" were a few richly revealing words, a hint at the straw that broke the koala’s back: Lebanese had brutally beat two Cronulla lifeguards. ... Other provocations: Lebanese were in the habit of loitering around bikini-clad white girls, calling them prostitutes and exhorting them to "cover up," as have they been implicated in a string of racially motivated, gang-rapes of young white girls.
Freedom of speech is heavily proscribed in Europe and Australia. Aussies and Europeans can end up jailed and jobless for mouthing about Muslims (but not the reverse).
Soon after the riots erupted, a Uniting Church hall adjacent to a mosque was burned to the ground and four churches in Sydney's southwest were attacked. A Catholic Archbishop has had to entreat Middle Easterners not to target Christmas celebrations, after these hoodlums threatened, spat on, and shot at parents and kids who convened to sing carols at a primary school in western Sydney.

2,000 police lock down Sydney beaches
ABC News, 18 December 2005
The New South Wales Government says there will be an unprecedented number of police patrolling again at Sydney's beaches today to prevent further outbreaks of racially motivated violence.
Police are again planning to lock down certain streets around beaches in Cronulla, Maroubra and Bondi and are warning that people who do not live in the area could be turned away.

Locations of road closures and lockdowns
The Sydney Morning Herald, 17 December 2005

Now churches are targeted
The Australian, 15 December 2005
Four churches in Sydney's southwest have been attacked in 24 hours as the city's riots spread from race to religion. A community hall linked to a Uniting church was burned to the ground early yesterday, carol-singers were spat on and church buildings peppered with gunfire

Church hall burned down
News.com.au, 14 December 2005
A fire that destroyed church hall in Sydney's west may be linked to the race riots in Cronulla ... Four men were seen near the Uniting Church hall, which is next to an Islamic centre, in Auburn before the fire broke out
The fire follows two days of violent assaults and vandalism during ethnic clashes in Sydney. It also follows an incident last night in nearby St Joseph the Worker Primary School where shots were fired into cars and parents abused during a Christmas carols service.

When two tribes go to war: a culture clash
The Age, 14 December 2005
in recent years, inward-looking Cronulla has attracted a different crew. Easily reached on the train line from the western suburbs, it has become the beach of choice for growing numbers of second and third-generation, mostly Lebanese, groups of young adults. For some time now their presence has not sat well with locals. Many complain of boorish and threatening behaviour, of sand kicked in faces during soccer games, of inappropriate remarks aimed at young Anglo women and of packs of Lebanese men using their numbers to menace locals. Ray, a 23-year-old surfer, said he was assaulted three weeks ago by a group of young Lebanese men.

Bats, rods, bars, fists ... it's out of control
The Sydney Morning Herald, 14 December 2005
Dozens of vehicles clogged the street. Men stood on parked cars, shouting, bashing windows with baseball bats. "It was out of control," Mr Castles said. "They were going on a rampage." Three men jumped on his car's roof and smashed windows with an iron bar. "They were saying, 'We'll be back Sunday. Come out and fight us'," he said.
At Caringbah, some attacked a couple dining at a pizzeria. The woman suffered head injuries. Her husband tried to rescue her but was assaulted. ... A man who had just returned from a North Coast fishing trip was set upon by up to 30 men on Kingsway. "There were bats, rods, bars, fists," he said.
Mr Austin was standing on the Boulevarde. ... "As soon as they saw me they said, 'Die, you Aussie dog. We're going to kill you'," he said. The young men, bearing baseball bats with spikes and 60 centimetre machete's chased Mr Austin off the street. ... "There would have been at least 30 guys came sprinting at me, just ready to rip me apart. ... If they weren't going to kill me, they were going to give me an absolute flogging." The mob left, scared away by a Ford Falcon that was reversed towards them at speed.

Faces of fear at the beach
Herald Sun, 14 December 2005
"This is our beach and we're here to claim it back," Melanie said. "You can't go to the beach without the Lebs yelling stuff out. "Because of that we've come here to take it back."

*** Nationalists boast of their role on the beach ***
The Age, 13 December 2005
Dr Saleam, the NSW secretary of the ultra-nationalist Australia First Party, said yesterday "But what happened was independent of any real political organisation. This is a people's rebellion, a civil uprising of a very significant number of the local population."

Far-right groups admit to role
The Australian, 13 December 2005
Jim Saleam, the NSW secretary of ultra-nationalist group Australia First, said his members had recruited up to 120 people for the rally but denied they were involved in violence.

Retaliation: Rampage of hate
The Daily Telegraph, 13 December 2005
Terrified residents told yesterday how they were bashed, threatened with firearms and forced to cower inside their homes after up to 100 youths of Middle Eastern descent rampaged through Maroubra in apparent retaliation for the Cronulla race riots.

Flashpoint: Young man first to feel anger
The Daily Telegraph, 13 December 2005
a 23-year-old man walking through the Woolooware Golf Club car park with women friends was stabbed by three youths of Middle Eastern descent. With half the knife still lodged in his back, the man was rushed to Sutherland Hospital where he remained in a serious condition yesterday. The mob violence spread to Maroubra just before 11pm, where 50 carloads of youths of Middle Eastern descent smashed 100 cars parked around the streets with baseball bats. Several residents who came out to protect their property were punched and kicked.

Young Arabs call for revenge attacks as hate groups gloat
The Advertiser, 13 December 2005
police investigated a new series of SMS messages calling on young Arabs to start another round of attacks at Cronulla beach on Sunday. "All Arabs unite as one, we will never back down to anyone the aussie's (sic) will feel the full force of the arabs as one 'brothers in arms'," the SMS said. "Unite now lets show them who's boss 'destroy' everything gather at cronulla . . . spread the message to all Arabs."
In apparent reprisal attacks, a man was stabbed and more than 100 cars damaged by a gang at Maroubra Beach. Yesterday morning, two of the area's main streets were littered with vandalised cars and smashed glass. ... more than 100 youths descended on Maroubra Rd and Malabar Rd, targeting virtually every car in the street. One man said he was threatened with a handgun and chased inside his home after going to investigate the commotion in the street. ... Another resident, Niki Barr, said she was knocked to the ground after being smashed in the head by a thug with a baseball bat.

Nasty reality surfs in as ugly tribes collide
The Sydney Morning Herald, 12 December 2005
At its worst, this culture had overtones of civil war, as the Kanaan gang sprayed the Lakemba police station with gunfire. One of those who took part in this attack was Saleh Jamal, now in jail in Lebanon on weapons charges. He has turned to Islamic fundamentalism and wanted to explode a terrorist bomb in Sydney before he fled the country.
The cops hate and fear the swarming packs of Lebanese who respond when some of their numbers are confronted, mobilising quickly via mobile phones and showing open contempt for Australian law. All this is the real world, as distinct from the world preferred by ideological academics who talk about "moral panic" and the oppression of Muslims. They will see only Australian racism as the problem.

Gangs plot attack on Maroubra beach
The Daily Telegraph, 10 December 2005
Maroubra Beach could be the new setting for race riots this weekend after police discovered a text message urging Middle Eastern gangs to start trouble in the Eastern Suburbs instead of Cronulla. The message urged troublemakers to go to Maroubra beach on Sunday because the heavy police presence at Cronulla would prevent a confrontation.
The Premier strolled along the beachfront at Cronulla yesterday calling for calm between local youths and Middle Eastern gangs. The photo opportunity turned into a nightmare when locals rounded on him.

Gangs turn Cronulla beach into war zone
The Daily Telegraph, 7 December 2005
Nicolle Dunk has been swimming at Cronulla since she was a toddler, but now the 17-year-old refuses to go to her favourite beach alone. She has been harassed and assaulted by thugs of Middle Eastern descent who come to The Shire to threaten and intimidate. "They kick sand into your face and scream the most disgusting abuse for no reason at all. A lot of locals are too scared to surf down here any more,"
"They come from Hurtsville and places like that and they always come in numbers. They don't mind having a go if they can hide behind their friends," Dean [Apostolidis] said.
Locals said the behaviour of aggressive groups of youths of Middle Eastern descent had become progressively worse in recent years.
Sunday's brutal attack was not the first, with a council lifeguard chased by a machete wielding man two years ago.

Police cuts blamed for beach gang attack
The Sydney Morning Herald, 6 December 2005
The mother of one of three volunteer surf lifesavers bashed on Sunday afternoon by a gang that claimed ownership of North Cronulla Beach says she fears for the safety of her 20-year-old son. ... "My son said there were four young Middle Eastern men. One of them said to his [19-year-old] friend: 'Get off our beach'. They said: 'We are here to protect you, to save you from drowning', then my son's friend got hit."
Representatives of the North Cronulla club and Surf Life Saving NSW met police yesterday and asked for more protection of lifesavers and beachgoers. ... other beaches had seen gangs intimidate and threaten beachgoers and lifesavers during the past two summers for no reason.
Police said last night that increased high visibility patrols would be introduced ... The Cronulla police commander, Superintendent Robert Redfern, who met surf life saving officials yesterday, said extra police would not be brought in.

Fight for Cronulla
The Daily Telegraph, 6 December 2005
"Get off our beach. This is our beach. We own it." These are the fighting words a group of thugs spoke to three North Cronulla surf lifesavers before bashing them on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Surf Lifesaving Sydney rescue services manager Stephen Leahy said it was common for Middle Eastern men from western Sydney to taunt Cronulla surf lifesavers by stealing their equipment, making idle threats and kicking balls at them.
Some regular Cronulla beachgoers said that the behaviour of Middle Eastern groups was so offensive, they opted to travel to other beaches instead. ... they were sick of being covered with sand while almost being hit by youths playing football over their heads.

Western Muslims' Racist Rape Spree
Front Page Magazine, 27 December 2005
In Australia, Norway, Sweden and other Western nations, there is a distinct race-based crime in motion being ignored by the diversity police: Islamic men are raping Western women for ethnic reasons. We know this because the rapists have openly declared their sectarian motivations

A great divide takes some understanding
The Sydney Morning Herald, 17 December 2005
On Monday night, men in cars assembled at Punchbowl Park, then drove in convoy, with hazard lights on, to Cronulla, where the convoy proceeded in formation down both sides of the Kingsway. A megaphone was brought along to challenge people to come out and fight. It was a message. The police do not control the streets. The police, by accident or design, were nowhere to be seen during this militia-style show of force.
Tim Priest, another police whistleblower, warned in a speech delivered on November 12, 2003, two years before the Cronulla riots and the Paris riots: "In hundreds upon hundreds of incidents police have backed down to Middle Eastern thugs and taken no action and allowed incidents to go unpunished. I stress the unbelievable influence that local politicians and religious leaders played in covering up the real state of play in the south-west. "My prediction is that within 10 years there will be no-go areas in south-western Sydney, just like Paris … What sets the Middle Eastern gangs apart from all other gangs is their propensity to use violence at any time for any reason."
[A Cronulla former detective said:] "The young police know that if they ever go in hard, they will get no back-up from the courts, or the police hierarchy. They may be charged with assault and accused of being racist. So we have a static, scared, reactive police force that is driven by statistics, not arrests. That's why you're starting to see vigilante-type thinking."
"We've been complaining about a lack of police numbers, a lack of police presence, and a lack of police response, for years." ... "Response times are now often two hours."
aggression and sexual innuendo from young Lebanese men have been routine for years at Cronulla. ... they would be surrounded by dozens of young Lebanese men who would tell them, "This is our spot", and intimidate them out of the picnic area.
a detective sergeant, says: "In reality, the sexual assaults and harassment are much higher than are reported. Many girls don't have the courage to face these young men. They are ruthless; they have no regard for the law." There have been thousands of incidents of girls being called "sluts" or similar at Cronulla and elsewhere over the past decade. This sense of loss of civil safety was the context of the size of the Cronulla demonstration last Sunday.

Muslim Gang Rapes and the Aussie Riots
Front Page Magazine, 15 December 2005
In Australia this week amidst anger over an Islamic man’s rape conviction and the bashing of two Aussie life savers, working-class locals erupted in a rampage of anger and brawling in some of the worst racial riots in decades.
Four days after he set foot in Australia, the rape spree began ... After taking an oath on the Qur’an, the man - known only as MSK - told the court he had committed four attacks on girls as young as 13 because they had no right to say "no." They were not covering their face or wearing a headscarf, and therefore, the rapist proclaimed: "I’m not doing anything wrong."
[re. Cronulla] a series of high profile rapes in the area had spurred locals on and that a group of Middle Eastern men had attacked two Aussie lifesavers the previous weekend. Locals claimed to the media after the riots that they were sick of Lebanese Muslim gangs calling their daughters and wives names, and throwing cigarette butts at them.

Gang rapist blames culture
The Advertiser (Sunday Mail), 9 December 2005
A convicted gang rapist has told a Sydney court he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl because he thought she was promiscuous and "had no right to say no".
The court was told the first rape, that of a 14-year-old girl known as T, took place four days after MSK arrived from Pakistan. MSK took an oath on the Koran before telling the court his cultural background was partly to blame for his crimes.

Gang rapist's attacks unavoidable, says lawyer
The Sydney Morning Herald, 12 October 2005
A violent gang rapist should have been given a lesser sentence partly because he was a "cultural time bomb" whose attacks were inevitable, as he had emigrated from a country with traditional views of women, his barrister has argued.
MSK, who, with his three Pakistani brothers, raped several girls at their Ashfield family home over six months in 2002, was affected by "cultural conditioning..."

Racially motivated crime and punishment
The Guardian, 23 September 2002
It's hard to extend any sympathy to people like Bilal Skaf. He is currently serving a 55-year jail term for his part in a string of gang-rapes in Sydney's southern suburbs two years ago. During the rapes teenage girls were threatened at gunpoint, beaten, insulted, forced to perform oral sex and raped by up to 14 boys at a time. In a particularly inflammatory twist, several of the victims were subjected to a barrage of racist taunts by their assailants, all of whom were from Lebanese backgrounds.
Skaf has never shown any remorse for the crimes or pity for the victims, and smiled as he received the guilty verdicts

Racist rapes: Finally the truth comes out
The Sydney Morning Herald, 14 July 2002
there were media outlets that downplayed the story and air-brushed race from it
Judge Megan Latham ... made a special point of debunking the race link
one of the victims complained her victim impact statement had been "censored" of any "ethnic" references by prosecutors intent on a plea bargain. She was convinced she was raped because of her ethnicity. "You deserve it because you're an Australian," the rapists told her during the five-hour attack.
They were hate crimes. The rapists chose their victims on the basis of race. That fact is crucial to this story. If the perpetrators had been Anglo-Celtic Australians, the furore would have been enormous. No newspaper would have left out that fact and you can bet the guilt and shame would have been spread far and wide.
